Hedge Knights are objects of disdain across the world, owning no land and little else but their arms, armor, and horse. But, in times of war, a few of these landless nobles can make for a formidable cavalry unit. With knightly training and decent equipment, a unit of hedge knights is an attractive proposition for any noble house looking to round out its forces for a coming battle. That said, while they're certainly more than a match for regular forces, Hedge Knight equipment is rarely up to the same standards as regular knights. Still, men in heavy armor on trained warhorses are usually welcome in any force.
